Misty D. Watson grew up with the woods of Northwest Georgia as her playground. Carefree years were spent climbing trees, chasing lightning bugs and eating tomatoes barefoot in the garden. Her formative years were steeped in wonder for the world around her. The adventures of her childhood laid the foundation for a life-long love of story telling.
An award-winning writer and photographer of 20+ years, Misty is a culture and lifestyle storyteller. She holds a bachelor’s in communications from Berry College and a master’s in communications from Purdue University. With experience in journalism, higher education and other roles, Misty has developed a deep understanding of complex issues, including government, healthcare, technology and more.
When Misty is not writing, she enjoys time with her daughter, yoga and eating tacos.
